Hands down one of the best cafes in Vaughan. This is a kosher eatery near promenade mall and they have the freshest assortment of bagels, salads, sandwiches, stone baked pizzas, lattes, coffees - you name it! I had their veggie cream cheese bagel and their mixed greens salad. The bagel was stuffed with cooked egg plant, red/yellow and green pepper. I typically don't like egg plant but this combination tasted great! The staff is super friendly too and they keep the inside of the cafe really clean as well. I would strongly recommend checking this place out!

This place is awesome. My dads brings us take out from here all the time. It's a small cafe near promenade mall. The cafe has a variety of kosher food.
My favourite is the cream cheese bagel. It's just amazing. It's different from the typical cream cheese bagel you buy from any coffee store. It has sautéed eggplant, zucchini, peppers and red onions in it. The bagels are so fresh. The cream cheese in the bagel is not too heavy. The salads are also really nice. The one I tried had sweet potato's in it. I love sweet potatoes.
Would also recommend trying this place for breakfast. They have amazing buttermilk pancakes.
The thing I like most about this cafe is that everything is so fresh. If your in the area would definitely recommend trying this place! -

This is a new restaurant our friends and I tried for the first time. The food. Nothing special. The place just sucked. Small portions with an attitude to boot. I wouldn't come back here again.

After a 2nd cousin from Israel contacted me to let me know he was gonna be in town and wanted a quasi family reunion at a kosher spot, I frantically searched for kosher restaurants in the GTA for 20+ people coming from all corners.
Even though Cafe Sheli doesn't take reservations, owner Shlomo assured me that we'd be fine if we showed up early on Sunday morning for breakfast.
Thanks SO much to the team at Cafe Sheli--my extended family of more than 25 came, shmoozed, ate, drank and played Jewish geography with each other and other patrons at the restaurant.
Food was great and the service was outstanding. What a pleasant, professional staff! You all really helped to make this family event a success. -

My experience with service and product at the 7700 Bathurst location:
I went in asked for a medium regular coffee. She asked me how many sugars and milk. I advised her anyway, and mentioned cream instead. She explained we have milk only. LOL your name has cafe in it... never mind sure. She asked a waitress in an other language to make me a coffee. I noticed she was turning the craft completely upside down to fill the cup. I said, forget it don't want coffee anymore, She said why all angry fore some reason I let them know I will not be drinking bottom of the craft I don't know how many hours old. She said okay you want a fresh coffee? I said, really? I think I still ended up with old coffee, because the "fresh coffee" was ready too fast and it was warm and tasted like dirty water. I had left by then, and I didn't bother going back in, it wouldn't end well. I Just threw the coffee in garbage lost about 3 dollars for a medium cup of swill. In the end the owner was angry that I wanted fresh coffee and she was speaking hebrew I believe, to the other person to make my coffee. Taking the tone of her voice into consideration, and I don't think it takes a minute long sentence to say make a medium 1 sugar 1 milk. Even if she also used the word fresh in the sentence lol. (which I doubt) Really the place is a zero stars
